Hiking Beacon Rock

Dad and Jay went into the Columbia River Gorge and hiked beacon rock. Despite the numerous plants sticking into the trail they managed to avoid getting any rashes from poison oak. The views of the gorge from the trail were amazing! The 360-degree camera went along too. So, you can experience the hike with us by watching this video:

How to Find a Book

We learned how to find books at our local library. We used the library's electronic catalog to find a book of interest and then track that book down using it's dewey decimal system call number. In this trip to the library we researched books to help write a report about penguins. We also explore the children's, juvenile, and adult sections of the library.

We were excited to learn that our local library shared this video on their social media websites!
